My 80s undergravel salt and 90s canister salt both with dolomite. My African Cichlid tanks of the 80s too. Awesome stuff but probably voodoo today including the undergravel and canister

Nektonics UGF were all the rage ...power plus 600 filter ..anybody remember that ?..aquaking , Blue/ green algae was the thing to get growing in your tank ...2 piston dynamaster to fire up that UGF ... Limewood airstones in HOB protein skimmers... I started keeping marine fish in 1975 .. pre - reef tank times

I've never seen 80 cent a gallon gas. It was about $1 a gallon when I was a kid, but that was on the east coast.

Try not to eat too many Big Macs, but I get your point.
