Does my Mini Max Carpet Anenome have two mouths?

Looks like 2 mouths! And I'm not an expert on mini maxis but since they're kind of like ricordea it may be splitting!

Maxi minis don't split, you can however take a nice SHARP NEW razor blade and slice that sucker in half and then in half again and get yourself 4 new maxi minis...just make sure that every piece has a small part of the mouth and you'll be GTG

YES YOU CAN FRAG/SPLIT AN ANEMONE...
It's done all the time with maxi mini nems as well as bubble nems
In the wild they would reproduce sexually btw, so please don't spit off I formation that is not correct, I've been in this hobby 20 years as well as working in the industry, I promise I picked up a few things along t the way bud

I don't have strong urges to hack up my mini maxi nems usually. I'm willing to bet that nature will take its course. Regardless, keep us posted. I would like to know what happens. Seems fun fun watching from the sidelines.
I love the colors. My thoughts are that anything reproducing in your tank is a bonus. I would feed that pretty until its dropping food because its too full.

I've been feeding him every other day because he was all shrunk up. All of a sudden today is when I noticed the two mouths. I've had him two weeks.
Yah he had great coloring! Was $35 at the LFS. I got him for my sexy shrimp but the shrimp has been gone since I got him. Dunno where he went!?

Just make sure you use a brand new razor blade, or preferably a scalpel if you have access to one, that's what I typically use because they tend to be sharper than most razor blades since they were destined for a more delicate purpose obviously
You shouldn't need to QT him after you slice but if you can get the halves out a quick iodine dip with lugols wouldn't hurt anything, it'll help him heal faster...but if you can't get him out don't sweat it, they're pretty solid creatures
