I've been a bit stumped lately on new fish additions and thought I'd see what ya'll come up with.

125g 6ft, 20g sump, Chainlink eel, 3 fairy wrasses, 2 Firefish, 1 flasher wrasse, 1 filefish, misc. coral and CUC. 100+lbs of live rock, 1.5 inch sand bed (have more to increase depth not rinsed yet).

Top of my list is some sort of leopard wrasse and a few more fairies and another flasher. Already mentioned on local club page was a marine comet/beta.

Looking to stay under $100 per fish and must be 110% compatible with above, likes bright light as most of my fish stay on the darker half. Maybe another oddity like my filefish of some sort?

I'm a big fan of marine betta, but they are a bit more reclusive.

A group of zebra dartfish, a group of anthias, yellow assessor.
The reclusiveness is what's stopped the betta from the must list, later on possibly depending on what else gets added.

I've been very patient with stocking as I hate trapping and removing. A bit stumped and have gotten very picky with purchases.

These have intrigued me due to the blue, seen trios come up on DD from time to time, wasn't sure how well the darts mixed with Firefish since they are similar in shape.

Blue Gudgeon Dartfish

Dartfish mix well with firefish, they will even share the same dart hole, but some blue gudgeons are very shy, some are outgoing.

Guess it's time to finally time to get down to serious business and catch the butt head fish of my tank these next few days.

They mix easily, they accept new additions well.
TJ just saw another post of yours, is 4 better than 3 with these? I'm very tempted, as I'm removing the cf pylei, and these guys can go to qt, with the damsel moving to my sump. Would this also leave room for a few more wrasses later on?

For blue gudgeons, the bigger the group, the more likely they will be bolder.

Anything I should do to my quarantine to prepare for these guys that you wouldn't do for other fish?

Why these? I still have plenty of space, so I'm always open for suggestions.

They are great little community reef fish. I had 3 in my 180 and they never bothered anything. They were shy at first but became bold after about a month. I still remember the first time I saw one swimming upside down for the first time. Freaked me out, but was very cool and normal behavior.

These may be on the short list, interesting for sure. Going to look at these over the next month. Thanks for the input.
