Dohhh.... Another suggestion thread

I have my eyes on a couple different types for the next to enter qt. Going to be a tough choice of what to get first.

what did you have in mind? good news on the fish!
The 2 on DD and a few other opinions have me looking at those. I want different but different under $100 lol. I get bored seeing the same ol thing, reason I had to make a mini disc golf basket for my tank.

Tminus 1 week til these guys exit quarintine hopefully :) Also found my cf pylei a home earlier which means my quarintine will get torn down and a real good cleaning before the next chosen ones ;)

Are there any variations of blue gudgeons? My pair I have left have yellow outlined around the black on base of tail. I saw another pair at my LFS and they didn't have the yellow. @eatbreakfast

Yes, there are two tail types, ones with yellow, ones without. They aren't different species, the color doesn't correlate to gender or maturity, and both can be found together in the wild.

My blue gudgeon pair are officially in my DT :). As soon as I see out I'll snap a picture or video.

Haven't seen the pair out but have seen this guy

Well 24 hours later and: a) my eel hasn't eaten them as he was a hungry 1 tonight, b) haven't seen them today but are hoping they get food as they are hiding in a spot to where some can drift to them (if they are together still lol).

Still no sign of em and my eel has been eating.

I know the general rule with wrasses are no pairs due to them transitioning to males. My question is: What about the flame wrasse pairs we see offered?

They are some of the worst as far as the female transitioning into a male.

Sharknose gobies, lets hear it on these.
A small, peaceful goby that is reef safe and will provide 'cleaner services' to tankmates. They are one of the larger members of their genus, but still pretty small.
