Dosing 3% Hydrogen Peroxide with Acropora in the system

It's actually 12%; I thought it was 13. Note that I was only using this to kill GHA and did not use daily. Total, I probably dosed it five times on varying days. Be extremely careful with that stuff! I wore gloves and was very precise as it can cause some major burns.

How is there no coraline algae growth, is that an abs bottom? Did you just set that tank up?

I am lucky as heck! My other tank on the adjacent wall is full of coralline (unfortunately). I hate having to remove algae of any sort. There is a bio-film that I have to clean off the glass daily. Guess it is a trade-off.

The bottom is glass and the tank is two years old.

Strange, im not sure I've ever had a tank that doesn't grow coraline algae.

There's some on the underside of the MarcoRock structure on the left. Also, it could be consumed by the five Tuxedo Urchins I have in there as well.

I just went through hydrogen dosing to treat ich.
my acros melted away overnight and fish died anyway.
mom now doing daily 10% WC to keep LPS alive. Safe to say I won’t be doing this again

I'm convinced hydrogen peroxide for ich is bunk. My fish survived the ich outbreak, but started showing signs of it again as soon as I stopped the dosing, even after following the prescribed schedule to a T for two months.

My tank has been having endless issues since after as well; SPS death left and right where they were thriving beforehand, gha outbreak, cyano outbreak.

I couldn't be more strongly opposed to peroxide dosing after my experience.

I’m not even 100% what it is. After talking with some people one idea that popped up is it could be amonia ( if hydrogen killed off the bacteria ) . Don’t have amonia test kit as I was never testing it (didn’t have reason after cycle was over )
