Get the seachem copper test too.

The API kits won't work for this type of copper, Melpyr may have mentioned already..

They don't have copper test kit or the ammonia badge
Petsmart should carry the badges, though it may be a combo pack with a pH badge that only works in freshwater (that's all they carry around me now for some reason)

For the test kit, maybe the other fish store will have it? You said there are 2 near you right?

So I just talked to the guy there and he said I can put this in my display as long as I don't have coral or inverts or snails?

Directions tell me to put in in dt as well?

NO! dont do it.... it will render your live rock and sand completely useless not to mention it will all absorb the copper and leach it back out later making it very difficult to keep the levels at therapeutic levels. You wont be able to keep any inverts in your tank after you put copper in it

follow the directions on the bottle for dosing. get the badge and the test kit as soon as you can.... like tomorrow morning or tonight some time. Get them in the QT and in the copper asap

And they had a freshwater ammonia badge
The seachem ammonia badges are for fresh or saltwater, should say on package for both.

And don't put copper in your display!

Always check fish store advice here before acting on it..

My angel is 8 inches long.. is a 20gal long going to be enough or will he just die from stress

I mean I have a 36 set up I can put him in I just have to take the sand out I guess I can do that for temporary then when he's cured put sand back and new water to make it a reef

Okay got all tanks set up and ready to go. Coppers in just have to grt the fish and put them in! Any tips on how long till they clear up or get better?
