Mannnnnn I was so excited for new lights to show up today!

dang fedex shipping is delayed!

I should of known. The last few fedex shipments have been delayed to me.

hopefully tomorrow.

Tampa bay saltwater live rock shows up today!!

got 20lbs for the tank and 5 lbs of rubble to put in the bottom of the filter canister.

I’ll move the rubble into the sump when I upgrade to a sump.

My light got delayed again

but on the bright side I got my live rock today from Tampa Bay Saltwater @LiverockRocks!!

I couldn’t be happier! The rock came in packaged so well and was packed full of life!

I saw some crabs. Snails. Worms. Sponges. Nice algae. Brittle starfish. Feather dusters. Coral.

when I worked at my LFS unpacking live rock was always one of my favorite things to do. I just love seeing all the different kinds of life.

I ended up getting 20lbs of smaller rocks that I could piece in and 5lbs of rubble rock to put in the filter. But the rubble rock looked to good to not put in the tanks.

it was a great experience working with them. I highly recommend getting live rock from Tampa Bay Saltwater @LiverockRocks

also I love a good sticker

Did the clown recover?
No not yet :( the other fish are doing great. the one black occ clownfish perked up for a minute or so tonight and swam around but went right back to the corner behind the plant. still there and breathing hard. perked up a tiny bit when I put mysis in the tank

Clowns are all doing well!

I wish the black occ clowns were eating more. But the one clown that looked like it was down for the count is doing just fine now!

Also. My lights kept being out for delivery and then never being delivered.

it did that for 5 days.

so I just had it updated to be dropped off at a pick up location and they delivered it there 8 hours later….

going to pick them up now!

Finally got my lights!!

I have a lot of playing to do with for light setting and colors. but I really like them!

corner tanks are awkward to light……

also wish I would have gone one size bigger for the front one. But it works

unfortunately. The yellow watchman picked a spot back behind a rock so he isn’t the easiest to see.

also really exciting stuff!!!

the bubble tip anemone that came with my live rock came out of hiding after I put the light on! He is exactly where I wanted him to end up

also I did realize that the same piece of live rock with the bubble tip nem also has a large growth of star polyps and they decided to start coming out as well after I put the light on!

Not sure what this is. But it’s doing well too! I think….

that rock looks great! Did they ship thru like FedEx or UPS or drop ship at the airport?

It was drop ship at the airport. Left Tampa about 1030a. I had it about 130p

Well. The tank is definitely not in its most attractive stage…

I need to get a small powerhead to help the flow in the front right corner. the water on the top seems a little stale in that corner. it will be some time before i switch to a sump but I miss the overflow keeping the top of the water clean..
