Also I was reading through some different threads and came to realize my white light was way too high.

after turning it way down I am starting to see my algae issue disappear which feels really good.

The jebao powerhead has been working great.

I only had it at the lowest power because I thought it was to much but I decided to at least turn it up to 50% and the corals seem very thankful

Well I turned up the powerhead but over night it ended up digging this trench and covering up a chalice and then also the rocks I added for a mushroom garden.

I turned it back down and just need to sum it up a little and see if that helps

Redirected the powerhead up just a tiny bit and so far so good

Alright I got the viparspectra set up.

runs

30% blues from 8a to 530p

8% whites from 9a to 430p

i defintely want to change out to the 120 degree lenses like I have seen people say.

I also still have the current USA leds running all blue and serve as my sunrise / sunset / moon lighting

I wasn't sure if I was going to, if I'm being honest. But, it's really filling in beautifully, and it looks like a set of lungs! I'm sure that wasn't exactly the look you're going for, but as a nurse, I love it!

yeah scaping a corner tank was very different than the traditional rectangle shape but I really like the way it turned out.

ha yes I see the lungs. definitely not what I was going for but hey its all good!

Can you raise the light off the water anymore? That might help with the hotspot until you're able to swap out the lenses. Also have you looked at the poplargrow lights on AliExpress? You could get one of those for the front and the mid/back as a perfect supplement for your viparspectre.

Love the unique shape of your tank, looks like you're doing great work.

GUYS!!! I just looked at my tank with a flashlight and there are hundred maybe thousands of larva!! I have no idea what is swimming around but it looks like tiny bug larva everywhere!!

I have a peppermint shrimp that I saw with eggs. Is that it???

it’s the white dots in the pictures. I tried my best lol

Yeah unfortunately I measured wrong on the length of the hanging wires. right now its about 7" above. I wanted it about 12"

as for supplement lights I have the current USA 36" in the very very front. and a 24" in the very back.
I just have them set to 100% blue/Red/Green during the day and give me my sunrise/sunset/moon

so everything works together very well at the moment! I will definitely look at those lights though

appreciate the kind words! the corner tank is a somewhat challenging shape with angling powerheads and stuff like that.
