Mike only do 1 coat then do your plumbing. I keep hitting the back of my tank with the plumbing and taking off the paint now I have to do touch ups EVERYWHERE!

So I was sitting in class today taking a test and all of a sudden I started thinking about my plumbing and things I would like to do lol. Then after a few minutes I was like oh crap I need to do this test! Lol

Ha I know!! I told my fiance that this is the last upgrade for awhile
ha I had a 75 in the spring then a 120 in the summer then a 29 in the fall lol now a 57 in the winter!!
I am seriously hoping I stick with this tank for at least a year or 2

Ha ya my plumbing is very simple! but when I was cementing the pipes together the pipe slipped into the elbow much more than I thought and it left me about half an inch short!
here is what I am doing (this picture the pipes are not cemented together)
and there is going to be a shut off valve on the drain too. I just havent gotten it placed yet

ahhhh I dont know what anything is!! except unions I know those I dont know the difference between a gate vale and the valves I have though

Gate valves screw in and have a handle on them like your hose on the outside of your house. You might have seen one on a skimmer. My reef octopus has one to control the water level.
They are much more precise than a ball vlave (What you are using.) They call it a ball valve because the valve is actually a ball. Look inside one and turn the lever.
Problem is they are hard to find in PVC. It's not a huge deal but if you can do it, they are much easier to work with. Might call a local irrigation supply and see if they have any.
