Mike just cought back up how was drilling easyer Then you thought right. Lol I just did 4 2" holes in my 240 for my cls. What are you going to do for your return? And if you like me are you thinking about painting the back glass so you don't see all the wire, pipes, exc. also what sand or bb?
I can't deside black or deep blue.... And ya try doing 1/2" thick my arms were jello. I had a special drill tho ill post a pic of it called hydro handle. Best tool I bought. I'm planning and spraying my plumbing 4 colors 2 on my cls and 2 on my ols different color each.Ha ya it was so easy! the glass was pretty thick on the tank so it took us a little longer. the batter pack ran out right when we were about to break through lol!
Yes I am defintely painting the back glass black! not sure with what kind though. my buddy might have some left over that he used but if not ill just run to home depot and grab some. I also will probably paint the plumbing black too.
So im thinking my next step is paint the back black. then start trying to plan the plumbing
I also need to create brackets that I can hang my light on. im not sure how im going to do that ill have to research some to figure it out. Maybe I can buy some oneline
The smaller the pipe more pressure (flow) when you get time check out the build I'm not as far but very good DIY build.very nice! and ya that is a cool picture of drilling ha I was watching the same thing as my buddy was drilling.
Thanks for the pictures! defintely gives me an idea of what I need to buy I just need to figure out what size pipe I want for my return. Im thinking 3/4" or 1" probably 3/4"
ha I have no clue what pieces of plumbing to buy.
Great job Mike!! That rock scape is Killer
