Fatmike's Sexy 57 Rimless

Can't wait to see what you do. This is always a hard part. It's so permanent once you move forward.

Ha exactly that's what I keep thinking in the back or My mind is am I sure I want this like this for 2 years or so

Looking good so far man! Can't wait to see how the pillar comes out. What are the dimensions of your tank

Thanks! Ha I can't wait to see how it turns out either! I keep getting new ideas and those ideas keep changing how this pillar is going to look! So who knows lol

It is 36"x18"x20"

The 2 islands are almost done. I just have to figure out the right topping to each one. Then I'll start on the pillar!

I might build the pillar in the tank. I don't want to but I think that will be easiest. Ha I'll start breaking the rocks into smaller pieces once I figure out the tops of the islands

I learned this from a friend and always like it. put some vasoline under the rubber slip and when you tighten the bulkheads it squeezes out the sides and then you smooth that around the edge and it creates another nice seal and barrier

I'm having an extremely hard time twisting on the bulkheads.

So I'm pretty sure i am going to get new ones. Any suggestions on which ones to get?

what you do with pipes and Vaseline is all up to you mikie.. please leave us out of it.

Hahahahaha you just made me laugh out loud in the middle of class. Everyone already thinks in weird. Now they think I'm crazy lol

Touché mike. Touché

Love the scapeing of the rocks so far:tongue: Wish I had the room in my 55, its not wide enough to do anything too special with the rock work :\ but my next tank will deffinatly be a cube, love how they look!

Thanks! Ya it would be really tough to scape a 55. I love having a lot of depth to a tank. My perfect size tank is a 300 deep dimension

hahahaha mike jsut because of your comment I know want to take down that picture. but we will leave it up because it is so funny
