Christmas favia. I had the prettiest blueberry colored Stylo next to it. The favia fell down in a crack that I couldn't get to and I left it there...

Is that worth trading at an lfs when I switch tanks in a couple weeks?

But the last favia I had was destroyed by my emperor

Yellow sponge .. I’m not sure if the bottle with the small dropper is where this exact sponge come from but it’s turned invasive taking over the under side of a lot of my rocks

Have the same issue with yellow invasive sponge myself. My yellow eye kole tang seems to love it, and keeps it in check. But it does grow on everything and even strangles out corals. Came as a hitchhiker on a piece of ocean rock.

...I'm kidding. :grinning-squinting-face:

curious if you had a mermaid that would encourage you to put that in your tank ?
Perhaps he was trying that new way of cycling a tank, where you use the ammonia in urea to cycle the tank?

There was a blue bottle
I had years ago and it was supposed to be great to add this sponge
Years later I’m not sure if it’s the same or not but it started covering the bottom of one huge rock in a cave .
Now spreading

I believe it might be what’s killing the paly

That can be done from a distance .
The only thing that would encourage me is a mermaid .
things called sweet lips or blow fish might help too

This might be unpopular, and I have not dealt with an invasive sponge
BUT that looks really cool IMO!

I think this thread is devolving quickly, and likely to get edited by the mod squad once seen. LOL

Was it the ******* movie that had them put shrimp in their shorts and have some whale, or shark suck them out?
