Flame Angel with white spot on his eye please help!

My flame angel has developed a white spot on his eyeball. I’m not sure what to do at this point, it doesn’t seem to be bothering him. All water parameters check out but could it be possible ich, flukes, velvet, etc?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated and possible remedy or treatment.

Can you give a little more information?

1. How long have you had it?
2. Did you quarantine?
3. Any other fish sick?
4. How are your water parameters i.e. the numbers - and temperature. Is the fish eating
5. Any bullying?
6. how long did the spot take to develop.

To me the good news is that the fish is otherwise doing better, and that its localized.

It can be due to trauma, a bacterial infection, or as you suggested a parasite. In the case treatment is needed - do you happen to have a hospital tank? Also - in some areas treatments are not widely available.

Some people recommend antibiotics, some observation. Will ask for a couple other opinions @Jay Hemdal @vetteguy53081 @nereefpat

Looks like a possible result of eye injury although flukes will also cause this
The higher blue in pics makes it hard tm Confirm which one
I believe scrape or injury in which ethromyacin (Maracyn 1) would be the treatment in a quarantine setting

I’ve had him about 2 weeks, no quarantine as I don’t have a qt tank but my father-in-law is going to let me borrow his if need be tomorrow, ph 8.0, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 5.0 ppm, temp 77, no bullying from what I can see unless they got one good shot on him before I noticed the eye, I have 2 clowns, a cleaner shrimp, margarita snails, and blue legs with him, and the spot developed overnight. I thought it was a piece of fish food caught over his eye untill he swam up to front of tank and I realized it was his eye.

If it gets worse, and you can catch the fish, ABX in a QT might be appropriate.

I would just observe for now.

That’s what I was thinking, he really doesn’t even seem to notice it’s there… eating fine, swimming fine, socializing, seems fine other than that spot.

That’ll work . Assure ammonia-nitrate-ph not elevated until you get Quarantine set up

I’m hoping it’s something as simple as they just got one good shot on him and now they’re leaving him alone but what are some signs to look for from this point forward for flukes? And if they do arise what treatment and how? I’m very new to this hobby. Thank you for your time.

Clowns generally go after tails or fins with aggression, not eyeballs

fish can dart away and scape themselves on something, or the clowns could have hit the eye. Im not saying its definite, just something to look out for.

OP said they are new, its easy to write off symptoms if you are unaware of what they are, and how fish should act when healthy and calm
