Gem tang price

Well thats exactly how it is in switzerland.. cannot even get some corals from other EU countries as its illegal without cites.. The same for fish.. Most fish are not available here, especially the rarities.. Some are available, but i excatly know that they are not healthy with certain vendors.. so I do avoid to buy there..

When 1 fish went from $30-$300+ at a 300% (yellow tang fish) increase and the other went from 3k in 2015 down to $300 in 2022...this is a drop. Not an increase. This makes sense to you? It is supply and demand? Or are they just selling the fish for what they can get? Please explain.

I assume you're talking about me because I brought up the price complaints. There have been people complaining about the price of gem tangs...on the last page in fact...but anyway you haven't noticed people complaining on other threads about the price of yellow tangs a lot? And it involves both supply and demand as well as just selling the fish for what they can get. That's actually how a lot of things work. Do you have any other specific questions? I thought what I was saying was pretty clear without an explanation actually, not that I mind providing one though...

I paid 350 for mine a year ago at a LFS. Went back to the same spot last week and they had at least 15 for the same price of 350.

We offer them for $799 shipped but fully quarantined and conditioned 30 days or more. I will match price for a non-quarantined fish or fully quarantined fish. Just make sure it’s a fair comparison and shipping fees considered. Currently have 3” and some 5-6 inch.
