GHl doser blinking yellow and trouble with Software. HELP.

Purchased Doser 2.1 standalone Install is a problem all weekend.. I have posted in sponsor forum but hope others who do not visit that forum can help.

GHL is now blinking yellow.. over the weekend here is the final result.. I spent the weekend .. installing, deleting and reinstalling all the software.. to those of you that have windows 7 you will have an issue upgrading the firmware. My issue.
GHL unit does not work with either my windows 7 or windows 10 computers. I can control it through them with the GHL control center software program ONLY to the extent through the USB.. when i try to control it through the pc without the usb attached and through the LAN or WIFI i can control the stirrer but not the doser pumps.. I get a return of ERROR 50 or ERROR 28 .

My static ip address is good. I pinged it and it came back. I see it in the router so that is good. WIFI was constantly dropping out of the unit. it would lose the signal even though only 50 feet away and other wifi devices in the room had full signal.

Anyone have these issues..

Same here. I got error 50 and error 28 all the time when connected via LAN or WIFI.
No problem using USB connection. Have better luck when make change via myghl.com.

For me yes. Got the latest software and firmware.
The problem might be from the router/firewall setting.
I got by using USB and myghl.com so not bother to troubleshoot it.

I heard the WiFi ghl 2.0 dozers have a problem with dynamic up messing it up. You would have to assign a static up to it.

i assigned a static ip address to it.. i tried it with wifi and my LAN...
did not change anything.. same issue..
strange thing is at times .. when i hit the "system menu bar" in the pc controller software... the unit does not even see my networks for wifi in my house.. That is why i mentioned issued with the Wifi reciever/transmitter in the unit itself.. frankly at this price tag .. this thing should be a plug and play and done.. not a week end of this ... Just my take on the subject.. 2 cents worth..

Did you try to change your doser setting via myghl.com?
Make sure that you allow to make change to the doser from myghl.

Yep... i ping it . and it responds.. Also see it in my router.. static ip address is set up.
I can use my GHL app to get in while at home... and on the same network I guess.. I assume that is how it is to be.. but at the office on office network..NO connection to it..

I have not initiated and done the myghl.com thing.. is that a requirement.. or simply helps.. ?

not required but that is another way to access and control the doser and it works for me.
I can monitor and change setting of the doser wherever internet access is available.

I noticed on the app... while i could get doser 1 to show up on dashboard.. i selected doser 2 ect to display on dashboard.. but did not even though i confirmed a few times that i move the slide switch asking that it does..

by the way to access your doser from your office, myghl is the only way to go I think.

thanks.. that is what I assumed.. I assume setting up myghl.com is through the controller software on the PC.

I do not know with the doser but i can reach my P4 from the whole world with the help of my GHL app. I have a static - public IP on my router (from my ISP provider) and use port forwarding (80) on the router. With the p4 I do not need to sett my router adress to xxx.xxx,xxx.xxx:80 in the app - only xxx.xxx,xxx.xxx. I do not know if its possible with the doser. @Vinny@GHLUSA , @Marco@GHLUSA

Just set mine up over the weekend and having the same issue. My husband helped me until I got it working on my phone with the app. Light still blinking yellow but it is following its programming. I put a book over the blinking light. Problem solved...?
