GHl doser blinking yellow and trouble with Software. HELP.

The doser application is not user friendly. You almost have to read developer minds LOL.
Instead of communication error ## they should give us an error message that average users can understand.
Instead of just flashing Yellow they should tell us why.
The doser keeps track of how much fluid in the container, without select "Container is emptied" the doser add the remaining fluid amount and new refill amount together.
If the amount above max (container capacity) then it flashes Yellow. It will be helpful if it pops up with a message to show "Remain Amount" + "New Amount" > "Container Capacity".
Another thing you have to pay attention on is when you calibrate the doser. After select new dosing speed, make sure that you "SAVE" before trying to calibrate.
If you select new speed and perform the calibrate I think it calibrate base on previous setting.
This is a great doser but the application is just ok.

By the way did you try GCC v1.1.1.3 (Beta). It seems to work with the wi-fi (at least for me)

KZ... sounds like GHL needs to copy and paste your statments here so we can all understand how to use the unit.. spending days to figure this all out ona 400 plus unit is nuts.. I understand they respond to emails ect.. but frankly.. why not just get some clear instructions and or a nice new video on the issues as they come up.. just my 2 cents... I will try the new beta software.. thanks again ..

ok need some more help...
anyone else have issue with mixer not working on GHL app?

second. My loser after a week is starting to make noise when dosing. squeaks now.

unit is only a few weeks old... thnaks KZ...

Here is your solution... From GHL

"if you have a problem with squeaky pump heads just contact us directly (US/Canada customers GHL USA, all others customers GHL Germany)

you will get a set of new plastic parts (incl. blue cover) for all your pump heads
(we did this already in the past when we were approached directly)

background infos:
1. a batch of plastic parts had obviously higher tolerances and/or different material mix, which caused that issue for some users
2. we didn't know this for a while, it took some time to find this out, so some customers got replies in regards to the squeaky issue BEFORE we knew the reason, this might explain some confusing replies
3. only a small batch of dosers is effected - not all; the dosers currently in stock (and in production) have already the new plastic parts"

just bought this unit .. brand new.. two weeks in and i am dealling with several issues .. 400 plus doser and i have to spend hours and days setting it up and then have to return and replace parts... that is insane.
so frustrated.. KZ... thank you again for all your help...

No problem. Glad that I can help.
I feel you pain. Just see it as a hiccup and hope the doser will server you well in the long run.

update and need help again.. so they sent out a new unit. I did not go wifi.. I hard wired.. i just noticed that pump one of the four is not pumping.. unreal.. was wondering why I did not have to add kalkwasser. i use pump one for top off.... in off of a kalkwasser reactor... anyways..

thoughts.. it sounds like the motor..

Can you calibrate or do manual dosing with one you think is bad?
If you cannot perform manual dosing then the pump is bad.

here is the issue.. notice the three are cracked under the blue housing..

GHL Cracked rotors.jpg

By the way.. i believe the torx screws are two different sizes.. one size for the white pump housing and another for the blue cover... crazy..
