Well it was cheap, so far it works. Lets hope it doesnt burn my house down but bought a 36"odyssea 4 bulb t5 light with timers and moonlight leds. $69 new with bulbs.

As it gets colder, it will help a LOT to cover the tank and the sump as much as possible with foam to keep evaporative cooling to a minimum.

Looks like a good start! Does your overflow have provisions for letting air in?

Naw didnt think about it when i set it up then later thought about it. But flow is slow enough it doesnt syphon
