Good Morning!

Good Morning All!
I finally got the car serviced yesterday morning. Laying on the frozen ground with only a moving blanket under me was no fun but I’d been putting it off for way too long.
Headed to the LFS today along with the reptile store. I need Reef Frenzy, Fish Eggs (food) and some other asst “do-dads” along with 10gas of salt water. It’s easier for me to just buy the water over making it. I only change 2 gal a week now that the tank is established.
With the ground being so cold already, the chickens don’t have too many insects to hunt for so we’ll pick up another 500 large crickets to give them over the next few days. They enjoy “the hunt”! We are also out of frozen pinky mice and king meal worms for the Opossum and frozen rats for the snake. Everyone is demanding FOOD!!!!
Football this afternoon and I’ve got a huge T-Bone to throw on the grille for dinner.
Hope Y’all have a great Sunday!
Stay Safe & Salty!

Hey!!!!
Has anyone heard from @ReefGrammie ?

Good morning. I have been around. Not much I can say with today's issues. We all have ups and downs. The road get's bumpy and sometimes we forget why we are driving, where we are going and why we even bother.

Like animals eating our favorite shoes, tearing up our favorite shirts. Breaking open a bottle of vegetable oil and it gets everywhere. Yes, my doberman did that yesterday while we were gone to the in laws. Came home and her head was tucked away under her bed. I was angry, I got over it as soon as my son poured a box of cereal all over the floor. I'll never know why they do it. They just do.

I did get a new pavona coral yesterday. Rather large, hopefully it acclimates well.

Good morning. My face is back to normal today. I guess the last of the swelling in my knee went to my upper lip and then left my body. Who knows.
Mike, I shamelessly take my car to the dealer anymore. I drive so little I only have to once a year. I used the coupon I got from Subaru customer care over the subwoofer discussion so It didn't cost me anything.
Mibu causes bad flashbacks to the year we deep fried a turkey in the yard for Thanksgiving. The dogs ate all the dirt were the fryer sat and didn't stop until the ground froze hard. One of them bit a hole in a 5 gallon jug of the used oil on the breezeway. It had indoor outdoor carpet over concrete and I had to replace it. The was no way to clean it that worked.
I think I will go make a pot of the Super Non GMO Green Organic Single Source Whole Bean Guatemalan coffee I found. Very exclusive, Aldi $4.00 a bag.

I love aldi. Just, I did not see this available in our aldi store. Every city gets something different I suppose. Hopefully it's good!

The term "stop hounding me" should not be taken lightly. Dogs are very determined when they chose to be. I do find they love fats from the meats we cook. Every last drop they can get. ;Sour

Also glad the swelling is down. It's uncomfortable and I was a walking balloon 3 years ago.

Good morning everyone! Apparently there were a number of items at the FW auction yesterday that I needed enough to bring home including a small UV, some vinyl tubing, a no-name utility pump, and other odds and ends. Also a friend brought me a bucket of rocks...reef rock.

Oh yeah, and a GoPro from the raffle. Who knew?

The person who never posts pics gets a GoPro - somewhat ironic

Good Morning! It's snowing here in West Yellowstone. It will probably be around until April or May this time. At least part of it. I am almost finished with the Christmas Train layout for one of the hotels I work at. It is an unbelievable amount of work, but fun. Have a great day and stay safe!

good morning! Got my pavona Saturday and the green is forming nicely on her already. My purple slimer is turning green again.

The dog and kid are finally done on who can make the bigger mess, now the young one is making them by himself again. My urchin has ran off somewhere with my birdsnest. My cbb loves to eat nori.

I am not used to daylight savings, in this time and age with clocks and wifi things, why do we even need it?

Good morning! Had a busy/good weekend here. Spent the afternoon at my stepson's place for one of our granddaughter's 3rd b-day yesterday :D

Got a bunch of tank work done as well - Skimmer drain line hooked up, dual reactor cleanup/setup (GFO/carbon), cleaned the sponge "filter" (in the final baffle for a bubble trap before the return pump), and programmed the new lights. I've been running this new setup without socks, and I'm pretty happy with the results so far. I'm really digging this new setup :D

Good morning. Over the weekend I bought myself a new reclining, rocking, swivel chair for one reason only. To sit comfortably and relax looking at my tank. Where the tank sits there is no place to really do this until now! Now I just need to figure out the best way to get rid of the glare and reflection from the huge sliding door. Curtain are not a good option cause there is no easy way to mount the center brace for curtain rod. And I hate curtains due to my allergies and all the dust they collect. Was thinking about anti glare window tint, like what is used on cars maybe?? Does anyone know if that stuff works very well?

The tank is on opposite wall from the door/ wall of windows. (It’s always been difficult to really see the tank due to glare and reflection.) And it’s big! 140”wide by 95” tall. Anyone got any ideas?

Here is the door/windows I’m talking about.
