Oh, and I put dead rocks in acid yesterday to make them a little smaller and then on into be fully sterilized. Old school way to make dead rock deader.
 
A late good morning to everyone. I've been really busy and missing my postings. I hope everyone is doing well. Just came home with a new mushroom and it immediately came off of the plug and disappeared into the hole of lost corals under the rockwork. I imagine it to be like one of those caves from a monster movie where the floor is littered with the bones of it's victims, except mine is littered with little pieces of superglue that didn't stick. Happy Veterans Day to all the Veterans here. Remember, if it were not for Veterans we would all be keeping artichokes instead of fish. :p

A lot of people think it’s “Veteran’s Day” or “Veterans’ Day,” but they’re wrong. The holiday is not a day that “belongs” to one veteran or multiple veterans, which is what an apostrophe implies. It’s a day for honoring all veterans — so no apostrophe needed.

Veterans Day is NOT the Same as Memorial Day.
A lot of Americans get this confused, and we’ll be honest — it can be a little annoying to all of the living veterans out there.

Memorial Day is a time to remember those who gave their lives for our country, particularly in battle or from wounds they suffered in battle. Veterans Day honors all of those who have served the country in war or peace — dead or alive — although it’s largely intended to thank living veterans for their sacrifices.

Today on Veterans Day we will first go out to my free Veteran breakfast. :) Then I will drive through Calverton National Cemetary and pay my respects to all the soldiers burried there. Although we honor them on Memorial Day, they are also part of Veterans Day as they are all Veterans.

Then later, we will go to a restaurant that gives half price dinners to all those who served. I can afford to go to any restaurant but I like to patronage restaurants that honor Vets. It's just me. :D

Trimmed the shrubs out front yesterday. Cant move today. But we are no longer "those people" in the neighborhood.
I put the Reef Nexus board in my Photon V2. Now I can control it with my phone and it's better software.
I think I will go look at a used RC car at a shop I have never been to in Barboursville.

Puts on pile with other diffused bombs like the one for the "Proud or embarrassed" pole thread.

Facebook is strictly for baby, kitten and puppy pics my wife shows me.
 
Good Morning Everyone.
I had to do something this morning I’d hoped I’d never had to do. My neighbor and I were going into town to Lowe’s when the guy in front of us hit a deer running across the road. Of course we stopped to see if he was okay, which he was. The deer was suffering so I had no choice but to put it down. First time I actually had to draw my firearm in all the years I’ve been carrying. Broke my heart and that’s why I don’t hunt anymore.

Absolutely the right thing to do but I hated to look him in the eyes from only a few feet away. It was an instant kill. I did what I’ve always done with any deer I’ve ever harvested. I patted him and told him I was sorry and I respect him.

thank you to all the vets.
went out to duck bingo for the vet hunt this afternoon.
(have to have a vet in your group to hunt)
sadly we got a lousy pic and opted out.
trying again tomorrow. (taking our vet with us).
now waiting for the doc office to call me back to see if i can get in this afternoon.
strained (tore?) a muscle two weeks ago below my shoulder blade.
was hoping it would just go away.:rolleyes:

What's your take on the reef nexus board? Is it a pretty slick app? I just programmed my 48 photon v2+ for the first time the other day using the remote and found it slightly caveman..
