Good morning! Still hammering out the part-time details, but I'm getting there. I'd have to work 30 hours per week to keep benefits. Nope. Too many. I may as well stay full time in that case. Nope, not doing it! Life is too short.

Have a wonderful day and may things go well. I'm a bit tired of things breaking, falling apart, fish dying, forum threads of course. It would be nice to see a change of pace once in awhile.

I know there's good news on this place, just seems to be in the past. I guess new comers would be less inclined to make an account and post "had my fish for 30 days and all illness is now gone, yay". I can hope.

Lucky me, I get to stay home with Miss Silvia, although she is in the garage and needs to be repaired, haven't decided what we will do with her. The new machine is on the counter at least. I only had starbucks 3 times in my life. Never again. Worst espresso I have ever drank.

Best go to coffee stand was by our laundry mat in 1990-2000. That lady knew her stuff. She was also the reason I ended up making espresso.

Good morning
I was dozing in my chair. Coffee sounds good now. I have been feeling truly awful lately but the show must go on.
Hydros dropped an update so I installed it this morning. AWC is now native so I deleted my programming and used the new options. Does the same thing. Not sure why I bothered.

I need to open a new bag of salt and I am dreading lifting it.
Waiting on the guys to get here to finish the install.

technically i'm a troll as i live below the bridge.
i got yooper blood on mom's side.
she's from the western up iron mountain.
fell hard for a local yooper girl in college (nmu in marquette).
five plus years i drove from pontiac area to marquette every other friday, coming back sunday afternoon. 410 miles one way.
she wouldn't leave the up and there was no work for me there.

funny thing, in all the times i've driven by, i've never been to pictured rocks.

the wife and i both love the soo area.
discussions have commenced about moving.

Good Afternoon All!
I haven’t posted in a few days. All clear, Covid wise so I’ve been out and about Gitten-R-Done!
Lots to do here on “the ranch” with the fall weather coming. Before you know it, we will be dropping down to freezing at night so I’ve been winterizing equipment, getting the plow ready in case we get enough snow to make the steep driveway impassable, etc. Seems early but I hate to wait till the last minute. Leaves are already dropping and for some reason, we’ve had a population explosion of stink bugs this year. They are everywhere and they get in the house. Totally harmless but DONT smash them indoors. Nasty Nasty Nasty.
Hope Y’all are enjoying the cooler weather. I know I am!

I think they put Geritol in the Geezer shots.

We got the Maderna so we have to wait a little bit. Feeling better and better each day. I’m going to CVS today for the flu shot and possibly the shingles vaccine. I have to ask if it’s safe to be getting all of these vaccines so close together though. Y’all know what they say, “ don’t overdo a good thing”!

Good morning! Savage toddler pirate attacks have increased in the area recently. These attacks are expected to increase throughout the month and then suddenly drop off beginning November 1st. Never turn your back on a toddler pirate or you will be ambushed from behind with his hook arm and pointy sword. Don't for one minute think that pointy sword is painless when it is jabbed into your unsuspecting backside! ;Nailbiting;Hilarious



The little guy is so stinkin' cute. I'm going to miss him when they move out in a few weeks! The adults....not so much. I'm tired of my kitchen being continually trashed and my laundry room piled to the ceiling with their dirty clothes. We won't even talk about the weird stuff they cook. Dry shaved skipjack tuna anyone? Normally, I'm all about cooked fish (not from my tanks ), but that stuff boiling on my stove smells awful!! ;Vomit Maybe I'll just move the adults out and keep the pirate!

I heard the 3rd shot symptoms mirror the 2nd. Since I didn't have symptoms with the 2nd one, I'm hopeful for the 3rd! Nurse DIL had hers earlier this week and did fine. Good luck!

@Mike from TN, I'm glad you're continuing to do better. I need to ask about that shingles vaccine myself!

so after much pleading (on their part) and hand-wringing (on their part) and stress (on my wife's part listening to the phone calls and thinking i was going to be unemployed;Hilarious;Hilarious;Hilarious) a contract was agreed to and signed.

work today and then off till monday. hunting recon tomorrow morning (so won't be here till much later so you all have a fab day tomorrow) and grandson pickup in the afternoon for an overnight visit.

and for all you kuerig users, we do this.

ReefGrammie, I also didn't have any effects from the first two Covid shots which I was disappointed about. I feel it isn't doing anything unless you are writhing around the floor in extreme pain as if you had velvet.

Maybe only Snowflakes or Girly Men get side effects but I have no idea.
I don't know if they make Geritol and forgot what it was for. I am sure now I need the stuff.

I know what you mean....I expected to feel "something" other than a little arm soreness!
