Good Morning Everyone!
Had a very rough night. Went to bed at 9:30, got hit with first cluster headache at 11:10 (about a 4 out of 10 on the pain scale but enough to get me up). Fell asleep and got hit again at 12:40 ( 6 out of ten) . Then a full blown attack at 2:00 which just lifted now at 4:30 (10 out of 10). Those are devastating! I’m physically, emotionally and mentally drained right now. As usual, the first thing Angela does when I get hit that hard is to lock up my handgun in the safe and hide the key. She always fears I may harm myself to end the pain.
This has been going on for over 18 years now with a 3 year period of remission. At that point, I thought they were over but they came back with a vengeance.
Saw the Pulmonologist yesterday and will be having Imaging of my lungs and thyroid on Tuesday. I have some swelling around the thyroid and lots of crackling sounds in my chest.
Probably going to spend most of the day in bed today to try to catch up on some sleep time.
I feel like an old vehicle that needs a ground up restoration.
Sorry for the rant. Sometimes it just helps to talk about it.
Anyone who is unfamiliar, Google “cluster headache” and pray you never become one of the 1 in 40,000 people who never experience it.

not much wind today, which is a bad thing when one is chasing feathers.

Good morning! some days are just better than others. some are just worse. i have been having some of the good ones lately, to those experiencing the other end of the spectrum, hang on, the tide will change.
