After doing what you just went through for a couple of years it's way better. What's your take on the reef nexus board? Is it a pretty slick app? I just programmed my 48 photon v2+ for the first time the other day using the remote and found it slightly caveman..
You program each channel in segments with a start time and end time. It draws the graph of the result on the screen.
You can also copy one you have already done and apply the same program to another channel.
There is a manual mode where you just have a slider for each channel.
There are 2 modes for schedules. The first one you define the length of time the light is on first and then fill in segments between those 2 times. The second one is a 24 hour program.
I tried the first one twice and each time I saved the program the light came on though it was late and it should have been off.
So I did the second one and it worked fine.
This was a retro problem for me so I knew what to do though. When I bought my Photon originally all those spots in the program had to have values entered in them by the remote. The overnight ones had to be told zero if a channel was off or else the light did random things.
I suspect I could go back and enter a 8am-8pm program now that all the memory positions have been programmed by the app but I didn't bother.
There really isn't much difference in the 2 modes except for the second one you have to remember the start and end time yourself.

He is getting me up at 6 now instead of 7.;Yawn
