Good morning! I'm attempting to work today...attempt is pretty feeble. I can't believe this year will be over this week! I will say I'm not complaining about that.

No big plans for the week here. I need to do some maintenance on the tanks and fill up the ATO reservoirs....maybe a trip to the LFS. I would like a new cleaner shrimp for both tanks!

Good morning! We survived Christmas and made some new memories. I scored big on accessories for my big green egg smoker that I can't wait to test out this week. My better half got a shiny new Bosch mixer that I can't wait for her to try out :p The tank survived all the basement demo/construction and is ready for me to relocate it again. I'm pretty motivated because I'm not letting myself add any new stuff until after I move it lol. Seeing all those live sales and not participating was challenging.

Good Morning! It has been outright crazy around here. We got a bit over 4 feet of snow over the weekend and the town didn't plow for a few days because the government doesn't need to work on weekends or Holidays for some weird reason, but they still find a way to collect taxes. I have to climb up off my porch and trek through about 5 feet of snow for about 100 yds to get to the road. Cars are stuck all over the place. The hot tub at work decided to spray water all over the electrical equipment. I have been dealing with that for the past couple of days. We went from the lowest amount of snow ever at this time to well above average, and more is on the way. It looks like we will finally get below zero this week as well. A couple of days have a high in the single digits. Should be fun busy winter. Have a great day and stay safe!
 
Good Morning. Like all mornings I took a walk before dawn. I decided to find a new route being I am surrounded by farms and I was basically a city boy. I walked down the road I always go down. This one past the golf course.



Then I crossed the main road and kept going through a strawberry farm. Actually they grow strawberries then sunflowers, then pumpkins and now there is just icy mud there.

I kept going and found dozens of deer tracks but no deer.

I walked and walked and came upon this.

I know it looks like a telephone pole that fell down but the people who come from farm countries know what it is.

It's a big sprinkler system. Behind the strawberry fields is a sod farm and this thing slowly moves through it while spewing water out to sprinkle the ground. We have a lot of sod farms here.

The sky was a bright crimson color that doesn't show up in this picture. To me it is red because men only see about 4 colors but my wife knows maybe 400 colors and shades including camel color. :rolleyes:

Good afternoon. Decided that I have to treat my tank for Bryopsis today. Tried Brandon's rip clean, but I can't get it completely out of the zoas and it starts all over. It's frustrating that I now have dinos and bryopsis simultaneously because of a salifert phosphate test that went bad somehow. And maybe because of some stupidity on my part.

Well my new black leopard finally came out yesterday, only to be chased back under the sand by my red coris. As the red transitions to adulthood, he's becoming quite the d*ckhead!(wonder if I'll get reprimanded for that mask?). Heres to hoping they work it out, or I'll catch and rehome the red.

Good morning.
As part of our daughter’s Christmas present I am taking her clothes shopping today. That means a trip to the mall. ;Facepalm What was I thinking with that gift!

I know, my sister in Seattle has lots of snow and in the 20’s meanwhile here in the Midwest we have been in the 60’s this week.
 
Good Morning! It's a brisk 2 this morning with a high of 7 today. The snow is piled into 5 foot tall berms in the streets and the lanes are almost wide enough for Yugos. It's shaping up to be an interesting winter. Hopefully they get the berms out before the next storm.
I am having a huge GHA issue in my tank along with bubble algae. I am thinking I am not moving any of the corals over into my new tank other than the leather. Hopefully I can find time this weekend to get it all plumbed. I have everything I need except for time. Have a great day and stay safe!
