Hammer coral??

If it were my tank, I'd bring it up closer to the light and give it more flow. You should see results in a day or so, as long as your water parameters are good.

So I moved it and I can see the tentacles starting to come out now.

Does it now get more flow and more light?

In your parameters you posted that your alk is 3.0. If so, that is probably the issue. Alk needs to be higher 7.8 to 9.

What's your phosphate and nitrate numbers?

Personally I think lighting doesn't have much to do with it at this point. That thing should have opened up within two days regardless of the lighting. If the lighting was too intense it would have closed up or kept open if it was too weak. I had a hammer shipped two days in a box open up within an hour of being in my tank and trust me my params aren't super.

I like to put my stuff on the bottom of the tank regardless of what they are and gradually move then to a better spot.

I honestly don’t know what it could be either..
phosphates: 0.05
Nitrates: 2ppm

I’m worried but then again not so much because my friend has a hammer coral and he just told me that his took a couple of days to open up in his tank.

.. and light.

Let it sit for a day or two to see how it responds before you try moving it again.

It’s getting pretty good light still.. ok I will.. I think it just needs time to adjust because the tentacles come out a lot but not all the way.. I think it’s still getting use to the tank..
