Hammer, frammer, What is this Coral ID?

Oh lord...

I don’t know why I posted because I knew how this would end up. You two have fun. It’s a nice coral you have there. Call it whatever you’d like.

It started with you being semi-subtly snarky, dismissive, self-aggrandizing, and missing the point of the thread, and unfortunately, it’s apparently ending the same way, even with multiple people trying to discuss it with you civilly. Self-fulfilling prophecies aren’t actually prophetic. They are much more often a sign of self-defeating psychology than they are an indication of any special insight into others’ behavior, so please try to give it a rest.

lol if you re-read the thread, its literally just you and hitman hyping each other up. You started the thread because you wanted someone to tell you what you wanted to hear, and you ignored multiple posts on the thread and only want to listen to the one guy who is saying what you want to hear.

I'm sorry if you thought I was implying you did not have a nice coral. I agree it has something non-standard going on. Impossible to say if its a hybrid or just has some funky tentacles. I have multiple hammers that will have funky tentacles that come and go from time to time. I don't think that warrants a price of $100 per head but that's just me.

I'm just tired of seeing things "rebranded" with wacky names so that they can charge 10x more.

Thanks doc, how much do I owe you for the diagnosis? Do you accept Aetna?

I do, actually, but you aren’t my patient, and therefore I did not diagnose or treat you, and you owe me nothing. If you really do need mental health resources PM me, and perhaps I could try to point you in the right direction. Let’s reserve this thread for frammer/hammer/frogspawn discussion.

Sweet edit Lobster, but that only works if your crap post isn’t quoted before you wipe it out and attempt a total redo.

Your statement about why I started this thread is specious. Please, get over yourself and get out of here if you can’t contribute anything but bile. Multiple people have said they think it’s a frammer or might be, heck, that would seem to even include you now my man. Some say just hammer. I don’t know. I’m not currently selling it. I was/am curious about it. I definitely didn’t ask you what you think it isn’t worth. This thread isn’t about whether or not your tired of marketing names (which we aren’t proposing here anyway), or coral branding (not doing that either), or company’s charging practices (not a company, not your enemy, not selling, again, I really don’t care what you don’t want to pay for it, probably no one does). There is a place you can discuss these thing directly and perhaps with folks who want to discuss it or perhaps who can actually impact any of it.

Last time now, please, discuss just the coral on this thread, or hop off it, k?

27 years in the hobby and I’m just hype? Wow I guess half the sponsors on here that have sold me these under the name Frammer are all hype as well.
I am no expert in this hobby by any means but I definitely have the time and knowledge to say factually what I think in a post and stand behind it. You posted you have the same things and in fact you posted pictures and they are NOT the same. If you would like to learn about this corals then please stay on topic, if your just here to mix the pot please move on.

There were some really great pictures on this thread :)
