Happy Labor Day!

Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

It's Labor Day here is the USA and a lot of people have the day off so today I'm going to kick back and relax with an easy one today!

Since it is Labor Day, what do you do to earn a living. What is your career, your job, your "labor?"

I have the day off, enjoying it and going to relax, I drive for a oil company and drive a oil tanker truck.

I work as a carpenter, currently building custom cabinets for a high end home builder. Thankfully they give us some paid holidays. So today I plan on laboring on some board games with my wife and a couple good friends, and get paid for it!

Day off today, relaxing. We have some local storms going on so it looks like it I’ll be staying inside doing tank related stuff...unless the wife says otherwise HAHA

Hi! I’m a highschool student and coral farmer! Selling frags pretty regularly both on R2R and my local folks. Thank you to everyone that has bought from me on here! I love this community. Honor roll student by day, coral dream by night, never a day off! Finally worked hard enough and saved my pennies, I’m picking up my CSB anemone today!!!!! To say I’m ecstatic would be a huge understatement, I’ve been wanting one of these bad boys since I saw it in reef magazine almost a year ago!!! I’d like to take a second and thank everybody who bought my coral and made this possible for me!!! Thanks y’all!!!

Electrician in an auto factory and I'm installing touchscreen computers today.

I work 16 hours today. I mangae a front desk at one hotel, and am just a clerk at another. Second job pays me double time today! The last holiday I had off was Christmas 1998. And it is forecast to snow tonight. Should get 4-5 inches, but no accumulation. I hope everyone enjoys the day.

What do y'all do for a living?

I’m a registered behavioral technician which is industry speak for an AbA therapist. I work with children who have been diagnosed with ASD. Here in a year or so once the lady and I have gotten settled in our house I’ll be going for my BACB degree.

Software Dev. - Day off celebrating S/O birthday today (but going to drag her into the local coral shop on the way by).

Gotta keep at the reefing stuff. I have a rather sick fish in the hospital tank right now. Today will make 5 days since he came in. Antibiotics come in today. I'm also retired so staring at the tank all day is the norm for me.
