Taking two weeks off from steering wind tower trailers

I met a guy that does your job this weekend. A truck hit the pilot car and pin balled between it and the rear pilot car and the rear end of the trailer while the guy was on the back steering it to turn at a highway intersection. Everybody was ok. But it was quite a scare for the guy on the back of the trailer steering it.

I usually have one day off. Saturday. That’s my wife’s day, she gets me for whatever she wants. Today I am off, second day for a week. Although I don’t get many days off, every day my aquarium gets my attention. No exceptions!

I work as a union carpenter as my paid job, but I'm also a volunteer Firefighter in my town, so I may get to enjoy the day off or I may not, just hoping everyone stays safe so I can enjoy working on my tanks

It's Labor Day here is the USA and a lot of people have the day off so today I'm going to kick back and relax with an easy one today!

Since it is Labor Day, what do you do to earn a living. What is your career, your job, your "labor?"

Software developer, I have the day off but I'm drywalling the garage at home.

Took all of last week off, and didn't realize I had today off until I sat down at my desk (working from home 'cus pandemic, so no biggie).

So I'm home cleaning/putting up shelves/etc and all the other things we don't get to regularly because I have an autistic 3 year old who runs everyone in the house to death on a daily basis.

Software developer for a Fortune-500/Top 100 to Work For. Have unlimited vacation and a boss who reminds me to take it.

I actually have today off for once! I’m an Audio Engineer for a Christian university in town so I get run around a lot for things. It’s rare, but nice, to have a day off. I’m also a licensed real estate agent so I’ve actually been working on that most of the day. And a few chores to appease the better half.

I make vaccines for a loving and mostly had the day off and still trying to be patient waiting for my Cade to be delivered

and by the way, one of those vaccines programs is for Tilapia Lake Virus

I have to work real hard at a high school nine months a year but they don’t even pay me... I work at my parents’ vet clinic and do get paid the other three months though

I am off from work everyday. Retired twice, and now all I have to do is the new aquariums and dodge the honey dew lists.

Working today. I am an emergency medicine Physician Assistant. Holidays are tough which means we are working with a skeleton crew while everyone is out doing dumb things mixed with alcohol saying “hold my beer” or “watch this”. ‍

@BeltedCoyote he's a super chill guy. this was the first time I met him. After that, we chatted several other times over the years at various meetings and conferences. He (deservingly so) loves the limelight and some of his posters on his work or his student's work is down-right amazing!

yeah from what I’ve seen of him he seems really kind and down to earth. Always nice for successful people to be great human beings as well lol
