Well, it seems we going to brace our self and Hunker down.

Local forecasters are predicting that it could be strengthen to a cat3 hurricane and rainfall amounts as much as 20" or more even stretching out as far as Louisiana.
A lot of reefers from Texas are heading out MACNA and all I can tell them be careful while on the road and it might be that you get stuck in LA due to road flooding's after the weekend as Harvey will get stalled at east Texas and dumping lots of rain on the west side which is the worse side of the storm.

It will make landfall a little north of Corpus and will not move north as most storms but it will make a sharp turn back into the Gulf which means from there on all is unknown to this point but predictions is that most likely it will hug the Texas coast at about 15 to 30 miles out as a cat 4 maybe a five with dumping rain as far as 100 miles in land from 20 to 30 and 40" in two to three days.
We all know when that hurricane got stalled over Cuba and dropped 100"+ in two to three days.
Well if that happens my gem and bandit and all their friends can take the open water as I will be floating my redneck ark.

:(

Keeping all of you in my prayers...

They just issued a mandatory evacuation for Calhoun County also

Yep, voluntarily evacuation ordered! Could go Cat 4 before landfall. 35"+ rainfall in some areas. Storm surge 6-12'.

Time to get out of its way!
