Help! what's wrong with my Duncan?

Hi everyone I have a 13.5 evo and the tank description is in my tank thread, My Duncan's "hairs" are wilted looking and it has not looked happy ever since I bought it, all other corals are happy and levels are in check, what should I do?

Mine has been like that before. Like others said I would move to an area that gets some flow and try feeding it. I fed mine once a week for about 6 months and it went from one head to 10.
I keep mine in less than 100 par also. Probably more like 75-80 par and it likes it.
Good luck with yours!

Your nutrients are bottomed out, coral will starve. Nitrates 10-15 and phosphates .05-.1, get them up.
Yup that is what I was going to say. Zero in nitrate and phosphate is not good. Its even harder on corals at higher alk levels. If your levels are that low you will want to feed it probably every couple days.

thank you, it already receives good flow, maybe even too much flow

thank you, do you have any brands that would work or should I just dose more phytoplankton that I have been( twice a day with one cap full of Dinkins Aquatic Gardens phytoplankton)

Too much flow and likely too much par. Raise your nutrients by feeding. Reef Roids will bump levels, Red Sea Reef Energy A+B and some mysis.

Just feed more, reefroids will increase your phosphates as well. They also sell bottles of both you can dose.

from this image where do you recommend that I move it to knowing that there is an ai prime,RFG, and pump on the way

Keep in mind I run the blue light, the white is for pics only:

Maybe the sand bed near one of the rock structures?

it has been moved, also should I move the GSP lower, because I think it has too much light, it is wilted looking

Maybe… GSP can grow about anywhere. I have some on an island rock and the par is probably around 50-75.
Mine grows anywhere. It was in my sump for 2 months with almost zero light. Open the doors for a crack of light. Boom it's back to alive

11.5 DKH seems really high especially with no nitrates or phosphates. my 25Gal runs pretty low nutrients and the duncans are happy with 8.5-9 DKH.

I have a 12 year old basketball sized Duncan that gets 250 PAR and significant flow. They can take a lot more than 100 par and minimal flow so i wouldn't let that scare you.

I'm not sure if you mentioned but how long ago did this go in your tank? They are finicky and may take a while to adjust.

I would agree with others that you need some nitrate in your tank to keep the Duncan and the other corals happy.
