Help With Angry Bird Please

That was back before Tony and “reef raft” got divorced and he rebranded as reefraftusa. TSA acquired that particular mini colony from Thinh Vu of mythical corals, but they had many struggles with bc it was temperamental and was told by someone else they lost it. They then acquired the RRU version they are selling now.

I believe I have that piece as well. A known Ohio vendor that will remain nameless traded me a “RRU AB” that was purchased from TSA and it is clearly not the same piece that I personally bought from TSA. This could explain how both our pieces came from TSA!! Thanks for that back story!

The only time I’ve seen “reefraftasia” version was from aquasd. Someone sold them a Jf jolt and called it reef raft Asia angry bird. I know that bc I’m one of the ppl that bought it as rra ab…..but it’s a Jf jolt. Here it is

Hey, I’d say you made out on that deal really. A couple years ago the Jolt was about $500 wasn’t it?

Not a good deal…I already had a jolt and this one was $599. Paid more for the same coral I already had. #tenuispplproblems

Not the happiest looking $360 frag I have ever seen. Maybe "Angry Bird" simply does not like to be fragged.

I’ve gotten a lot of frags in like that. Some even white. Low par and leave it alone. Like 200 no more. Don’t change it until the color is back. Once color is back slowly take it up. And with that size of a frag I would leave it at 250 until it’s encrusting the plug. Then start taking it up. Here’s my RRU Angry Birds. Bought it as a nub.

I took a pic of my 2017 TSA Angry Birds yesterday. It is a nice looking acro too. I just like the OG version better because of the striking blue skin and yellow/orange base of the polyps.

I have a buddy that has a colony of the OG and just acquired a frag from TSA. He’s growing the frag next to the colony. So I guess we’ll know the conclusion a year from now. Merry Christmas!!!
