Just going by what I see. This photo compared to the first one with the polyp extension, they do not come close to being the same coral. The one in the photo below has several bare spots (like a undata typically has) but the first photo is absolutely covered in polyps and has no signs of bare spots.
Look closer Gary. Compare his first pic with the second, earlier pic he posted, and you can see that the shape/contours of the piece matches in both pics. The earlier (not by post, by chronology) pic is clearly an undata. In the original (first post) pic you can also see the bumps/open areas of tissue present amongst the monster polyps, albeit they are getting blocked quite a bit by the large polyps. There are, in fact, bare spots, just getting a bit overwhelmed by PE. Alvis and Gonis do not have these verrucae.
I agree with myzislow. OP should take a picture after agitating the polyps to get them to close up. Then we can see the bare base and have easier verification.
