How do u support ur hobby?

Up to this point I paid for my addiction by being a financial analyst for a large international bank, received a promotion to a broader analysis position. My wife is a veterinarian so that’s a big help. Oh and our children only have fur or fins... so that’s a big break in the budget.

Hey I read this and laughed, I donate plasma at biolife here in Colorado too, that's my tank fund money.
Blood money, literally. We have a facility by us called biolife, and you can earn up to 70 bucks a week donating plasma. Twice a week for an hour. Been saving up and using that for alot of my big purchases. Otherwise I work for a general motors dealership in the parts department. And I do mechanical work on the side. I've rebuilt engines and transmissions and do all my own work. Except body work, never really got into that.

Puller of R2R levers behind the curtain! Also pastor at a local church but not paid! R2R allowed me to be able to donate that back to the church!

I'm betting no one else does this!I teach tumbling as a private instructor.Yep that's what I do.Isn't gymnastics as most would assume.I teach cheerleaders, dancers and any one else that wants to do a flip or a handspring. It's truly a blast everyday. You can see some of my work every sunday if you watch a Ravens game and they show a 2 second shot of the cheerleaders.I also have an ebay business selling classic Cadillac emblems.I really don't work very hard or much so I have plenty of time for fishing, hunting, reefing and anything else I feel like wasting time on. The wife is retired from the D.O.D and has no interest besides"fish watching".Needless to say the hobby is all on me.I our 20+ years together not one dime has she spent on "our" tanks. In her defense I've never spent a dime on Netflix, crafts, books, dresses, shoes,my entire wardrobe, picture frames, pictures for the picture frames, life jacket for the dog(he can swim) organic dog treats, odules non alcoholic beer,"soccer mom" sweat shirts,Things that looked much better on line,hmmm... I should probably stop now but R2R is cheaper than a therapist.

FDNY Firefighter Lieutenant 20 yrs in!!!

Sooo cool! You’ve got to show me the fire hall at RAP next year. I used to be a firefighter back in the day!

Deputy political director....I try to stay on ballot issues but there are never enough around so then I have to work for candidates. :(
Never fun having family dinner when your family doesn’t like your candidate and that’s all they wantt to talk about!
But it did let me go to Puerto Rico for 75 days to work which was awesome!!!!

Thinking of going back to school to get my masters for a potential career change.
