How do you calibrate probes on pm-1 module with no display?

I am adding a second setup to my existing apex. I was told I needed the probes, pm-1 module and eb8 as well as the cables. Got that... but how do you calibrate the probes with no display? Can that be done through fusion somehow?

I don't have it plugged in yet and am about to do so tonight but I was thinking about my question... Any help would be appreciated

You can do it that way but both devices will have to have the same subnet. I think Bob means to connect it to a hub or router anything with multiple ethernet jacks that will hand the apex an IP address if not statically assigned. Once you know what the IP address is/are, all you need to do is open a web browser and type in the IP address, the interface GUI should show up for you, and you will be able to log in and calibrate your device.

I was told to get a pm-1, the extension cables, probes and eb8. Put the pm1 and eb8 near the 2nd setup connected to each other then connect the eb8 to the last eb8 in line to the main head unit. Like piggy backing so to speak and fusion would pick it up. I have run the cable across the attic to the main unit but haven't hooked up anything because that question crossed my mind.

No one said anything about needing it also to be hooked up individually to the router

I thought I said a router, most routers nowadays will have a section that shows you all connected devices. Some will even tell you what it is. Plus it will have the iPhone adderess of that device

No everythingbisnt connected to the router only the controller everything else gets connector to each other

So I have to hook this up also to the router? I was told no before. Geeze, I could have just bought a whole second apex in that case. And that would be the main reason I didn't My router not only has all outlets full but way too far away.

The PM1 does not get hooked up to the router it gets hooked up via USB (AquaBus Cable) cable to either an EB8 or directly to the Apex controller head unit. The only thing that gets hooked up to an ethernet cable would be the apex head unit via the RJ-45 port.

Yes, that is what I was saying; this would be my coc starting from the last to the head unit.
pm1 to eb8, eb8 to eb8 (I have 2 on the 180), eb8 to aquabus, aquabus connected to router. But how to calibrate the probes on the pm-1? Would that be through fusion?

Why wouldn't pm-1 show on the main display anyway? Or could/would it? There is still stuff showing up there from the previous owner (I think) that I don't use like orp and ph2.

You have to add the tiles for it to display, once it's connected via an aquabus cable, you should also have an additional PH tile.

And I can remove the tiles that were previously put there without harm. That's good! Yay!

I see!!!! I never saw the "classic" dashboard before lol.

Thank you Alex, I think I get it now... See I only set up my system and left it alone... I get the eb8's and how to set them up but the rest not so much
