How do you calibrate probes on pm-1 module with no display?

Someone seriously need to do a "How to set up a 2nd system via pm-1 without a second display" video on YouTube!

Hope that makes sense
Yes that looks easy enough, thank you! Hopefully it will give me time to run from one tank to the other while calibrating haha
If not, I may have to do it via the classic dashboard with my laptop (since it's mobile)

There is no time limit to doing this so you can take your time going back and forth.

Wish I had a way to control the dimmer (has manual knobs) on the sbreef light that is on that tank through Apex as well. From what I've read I don't think I can.

If you can hook up a 0-10v cable to the light you can.

I have to say, I like both ways... via display and classic dashboard. I think knowing how to use (and that it even exists) the classic dashboard could be invaluable if your display ever goes on the fritz :D

So all I would need is a vdm module and the 0-10v cable? This is the 2 knob black box led style.

All vdm or you can use 1 of the 2 0-10v ports on the apex brain.

I think I would have to use the vdm because the brain (pm1 doesn't have those ports) is far, far away. Vdm can plug into the eb8 correct? Or no?

Yes correct, the vdm module will hook up to anything with a aqua bus port

Been there, done that a couple of times while we shipped back a bad display and waited for the new one to arrive.

That's probably going to be my next project then, thank you! :D

I don't care for the knobs, can't even see them unless I'm standing on a ladder. And then one of them is finicky. Right now they just turn on and off at the same time. That at least I can fix once I get the apex setup done on this tank [emoji12]

I've heard of them going out and have seen people selling their units without displays and have always wondered how they controlled things without it LOL.

So something isn't working correctly :( I hooked up the the extension from eb8 (#2) to the 2nd tank eb8, then from that eb8 to the pm1. To test I had a led light on the eb8 and temp probe on the pm1. Both the eb8 and pm1 are flashing yellow. So I thought, maybe I am confused and need the extension on pm1 (even though my gut says no and it belongs on the eb8). Still nothing but flashing yellow lights. My firmware was updated today before I did all of this. I must be missing something :( :(
