How do you get your water from A to B?

I was given a corner next to the slop sink in the laundry room for my "fish stuff". I set up the RODI and a brute next to the sink. The tank is about 25' away from the laundry room. When it's time for a wc I run the Python from the sink to siphon water from the tank, once I'm done siphoning I attach it to a pump and drop that into the brute and pump fresh sw back into the tank... all in all about 20 -30 minutes start to finish.

I have 2 x 100 gallon tanks in the garage,one for salt one fresh. I have lines running down the side of my house, about 80ft. Water change is done using a DOS pump. Fresh is added via a Tunze osmolater.

I think I'll do something similar, as far as using a pump and tube for a WC.

No winters in California, I'm in MI, my line would freeze up if it were outside. Luckily my garage stays about 60 and higher during the winter.

So my thought it I can plumb into this water pipe here

And run it to where the cans will be, on the opposing wall.

I'm not sure, as I've never done this. So if anyone has experience with tapping a pipe and running a RODI unit off of it, please chime in. Could I undo some of this piping, and put in some type of faucet like attachment, and just hook up that way?

Here's my set up using Brute containers. I was afraid to tap into the copper water line feeding my water heater, so I'm running about 50' from a hose outlet. I needed to install a booster pump to get the pressure back to a reasonable level, but it works fine. I didn't have a drain nearby either, so I'm running another 50' of line under the garage door to drain the waste water in the planter outside. I've got the pump and a heater on DJ toggle switches for easy operation.

Depending on the configuration of the valves, I can:

1. Pump fresh water (green can) to saltwater bin (grey).
2. Pump fresh water out main spigot.
3. Recirculate/mix saltwater from bottom to top of grey bin.
4. Drain saltwater via gravity from dedicated spigot, or pump it out main spigot.

I do so many more water changes now because it's so easy to make my saltwater.

You are running 50' of hose thru your house, how?

Right next to my garage is my washer, I may just tie in back there and run tubing to the garage, and throw my RODI unit on the wall, over my barrels.

Any suggestions on plumbing, or a stand? Will be using two brute barrels.

That kit includes the float valve. Is your RO system a BRS? If it is you only need the float valve.

Are you saying using you want to tie into your copper pipe to run the RO/DI water to your mixing stations?

This is my set up. I can 1) pump RO/DI to my ATO reservoir. 2) Pump new saltwater to my tank 3) pump RO/DI to the mixing tank 4) circulate water in the mixing tank 5) fill jugs or buckets with salt or RO/DI water.

That's right. BRS RO units already have a check valve and auto shut off valve installed. Every system comes with these stock.

Two floats, I guess that one way to do it. Normally folks have one float and just transfer water to another Brute if they need to. I just fill both at the same time, need only one float.

I use two Rubbermaid brute cans with an Iwaki between them and a 50' python water change hose with the fill hook. Moves 10 gallons 25 feet in about 2 minutes. Just reel the hose back on one of those garden hose reels when I am done. BRS and Home Depot have everything you need. Even ran a long power cable through the wall to the pump so I can control it via Apex.

Okay, I'll just get one float. Rather then the 3 way ball valve, I'll just do one ball valve. How should I plumb it? How will I get water from the one bin to the other...
