Never bit me, but she puts on quite a show sometimes.

I believe it's a Stars and Stripes puffer. I inherited it along with the yellow tang and clown fish from my sister in law. She needed them gone to move fish from her 220 to the tank these were in so she could fix a cyano issue the 220 was having. She has another maroon in the 220 and it would pick on the one I have relentlessly. I was pretty much fishless at the time so I took the 3 of them.

I try to keep the puffer well fed so it won't start eating any corals, though at this point all I have are mostly Zoa's and 1 acro.

I had 2 clowns, one OC and one midnight, nice as could be. Then started a build for the girlfriends family and took in some fish (2 maroon gold striped clowns along with some other things.) those 2 maroon clowns are the absolute definition of the word demonic. I can't even do anything in the tank without them trying to kill me! It's a 125 and I'll be at the complete opposite end of the tank and they'll dart at me!

My blacker ice pair eats out of my hand along with the tangs and trigger. If I have my hands in the tank without food they stand by waiting for the food, so far they didn't bite the hand that feed them.

I have 8 clowns and they eat out of my hand and when they see me they swim to the front glass to greet me but I do have one that chases my net he don't want it in the tank lol

image.png I have had my tomato clown for over 15 years. He only gets meaner with age! How long do these fish live!
Here is a photo of the typical damage I sustain when I attempt any tank maintenance.
Oh geeezeeee!!! That is what I am scared of!!!:eek:
My lil' one is only about 1.25 inches and he comes after me hard, I can feel his teeth but right now he can't break the skin!

Mine are super sweet. Osc pair. The female gets a little testy with the male at times and he has a safe spot. Aside from that they always come out when they see me get close and when I go in for tank maintenance they always just brush up against my arm a bit like a cat wanting attention. Here's a pic of the female coming to say hi when I approach the tank

I HAVE A WILDCAUGHT PAIR OF PERCULAS..THE MALE THINKS HE IS A PIRANHA, HE GOES AFTER MY HANDS SOFT SPOTS LIKE HE KNOWS WHERE IT WILL HURT, I SWEAR I WANT TO BITE HIM BACK SOMETIMES

Mine does break the skin, but she will scare the pee waddin right out of ya.

Oh my gosh!! Well now I'm terrified. [emoji15][emoji15][emoji15]

I was hoping to get a pair of ocellaris clownfish...are they typically not so aggressive and scary as other types??

Yikes!

My current ones and the pair I had before were very sweet.

My very first SW fish however....was a MATURE HUGE Maroon like 5 inches. I had bought a used 29 gal all in one cube, came with a maroon pair. That had been together for years. The girl was...mean and her bite hurt. Swear she took a chunk out of my hand about the size of a quarter!(reef tail lol)
I traded them for two regular baby perc's...stupid now that I know better BUT she was mean so....
