How tall are everybody's stands?

I also have a 40 gallon Breeder and decided to build my stand at 42". I'm 6'4 so i wanted to do a little less bending to view my tank. It is also not a bad height for viewing while sitting at my kitchen table.

Mine was 40" then after building it and setting it up no one else in the house would agree 40" was a good viewing height. So I changed it to 30".
This was a 40B. I still think 40" was a good height

When I built the frame of the stand not only was strength the motivator but the height of everything that was going into the stand and ease of access and serviceability. So the first purchased I made were the big things; sump & skimmer If I’m not mistaken the stand is about 34” tall and with tank on top not too tall to have access to top of tank for feeding etc. but have to get a one stepper to get “in” the tank but that’s rarely. Other than that make it whatever is pleasing to you.

My tank is a drop-off so we set it where the top of the stand reaches just under 51” and the bottom sits at about 34.5.” The rim of the tank is at about my shoulder and I’m 5’10”

The shot below is from a bit ago, the tank is going through a bout of uglies right now. Haha

Love the stand. It is powder coated 2x2 rolled edge steel.
