How to make R2R better in 2019

I'd like to see a video button next to articles. Instructional and informational videos sorted in some kind of order. A user group could pick some of the best videos out there and arrange them by topic and/or difficulty level. Maybe even help make a few new ones. I'm sure there are several people (like me) on R2R that are willing to help people with editing or graphics, if needed. I'd even like to see some behind the scenes type videos of the companies here on R2R. If fact, I'd be willing to shoot and edit it for them if I go near one of them while travelling. You could offer it as value added type thing for your sponsors.

I also like this idea, You never know how close some reefers are and not even no it! small world.

It would be cool to have a member map.. basically a thread where you put your address then someone (i can volunteer) can add them to a map app (plenty of free ones out there), and everyone can see if they have anyone in their area who is a member which in turn would promote more real life social interactions

Personally, I would not want to post my personal address, some of yall are too much for me. But if there was a way to choose which location is closest from a selection or just city, that would be much better. I move...ALOT...so a way to remove myself and go to a different group is a must.

I also agree with everyone who is talking about the organization issues. Every other day there is a post asking the same or similar question. Im happy to answer and help anyone out but would like if I could point them to a thread. Also, the addition of a system like Toms Hardware uses where when you ask a question once it is resolved you can mark the thread as solved. This would help those doing searches which threads to look at or not.

Piling on...I too would like to be able to find members who live nearby. Town level is fine. I don't need or want to see street addresses. Or within 10 miles of zipcode XYZ would work.
