Here is the thing about Digitate hydroids.
They like to find the deep holes in rocks. Its natural protection for them.
I would never recommend a laser of any type for the fact of reflected beams. Can cause blindness
I always take the safest approach of eradication

I call those tubular hydroids. I would have to go look up the specific name.
Those guys aren't as potent as Digitates but can grow in mass numbers.
I break at the base during siphoning to pull them out.

That is the hard part. Finding them but once the food line is gone they will perish.So any one know were to find these nudis
