So I got a linespot flasher wrasse in today and he is looking great. He camped out in caves all day and came out to eat a couple times, so he's doing well. Tonight I was digging around in the tank placing a few frags when my filamented flasher came darting out of the rock with the linespot in full flash mode chasing after him. I guess I never really understood what flashing was. I always thought it was just them spreading their fins at each other. This linespot was almost solid electric blue and his dorsal fin was so gold it almost looked like it was on fire. Totally tripped me out for a second. I'm standing there with an arm in the tank repeating "OH MY GOODNESS!!!!". About that time my daughter walks in because she thinks I'm being electrocuted or something and he comes out flashing again. So now we are both standing there looking in the tank saying "OH MY GOODNESS!!!!". It's such a spectacular thing to see, especially if you have never seen it before.
