Is there an easy way to 'move frags' in your tank I don't know about? I find I need to use SuperGlue (Gel) to get the plugs to hold to the rock for more than a day or two (due to flow, curious fish, hermits and snails etc), then they are difficult/impossible to break off when I want to move them 'up' to acclimate to higher lighting. I've started using the AF poly glue stuff which is ordinary but if you use a whole lot of it (my frags all look like they are sitting on a white bean bag), you can get the frag plugs to hold to the rock then easy to break off but its hard work

Get a magnetic frag rack. You can start it low and slowly move it up til you find what your coral likes.

My lights hover over the 'rock islands' in the middle, but you've set me on a different line of thinking (i.e. egg crate with weighted feet that I can sit on the rock shelves) - THANKS

Or a smallish piece of rock that is heavy enough to hold its own with a 'frag hole' drilled in the top.

Hummmmm,
Let’s see a 100.00 coral verse a 25.00 coral guide. Hummmmm, Take the coral!

I don't know if you have a 3D printer or not... (If you don't I can Send you some) but you can print plugs that you can glue the plug portion into your rock, but still remove/change plugs! Pretty Slick, I am using them in my tank now...

Are you simply looking for the Plugs?? If so how many would you like and in what color?

If you are looking for anything else that you are designing you can simply PM me with anything you may have!

Near as I can tell there is no guide for Best coral placement in our tanks. Can some folks please share their experiences on placement?

Ideally it would be nice to have the information on best Par for growth, color and what not to put near it etc..
Coral
Type
Name (if it has one)
Lighting par
Lighting color
Ideal chemical base (alk, calc, mag, etc..)
What not to place the coral near including other corals.

I don't think there is a formula for proper placement. I suggest you move your frags around your tank until they all seem happy where they are.

I buy rubble rock or sometimes just hammer and chisel an extra rock to tiny pieces. That way if you need to move one its a bit easier. Purchased rubble rock is better because the usually have flat areas, or small crevices to glue the frags.

Just order a bunch of them to make it worth the shipping... (Around $30 US for shipping) so for around $50 I can send you 30 frags. Again I know that's a lot of money (1.66 Per Plug including Shipping) but just an option to consider.

Hey Jeff thank you they look great have a look the extra was a plus.
