Your "Customer Testimonials" are obviously faked. Below is a screenshot of the "Customer Testimonials" for a Flame Hawkfish. I want to call everyone's attention to this because this is the first ever example on the internet of 10 consecutive posts with NO SPELLING OR GRAMMAR MISTAKES!

Other than that, you guys are great! Keep up the good work!

Most places when you leave a review edit / review before posting on there website. I believe BRS is another vendor that does the exact same thing. Is LA perfect, nope, but there customer service is. One of the few companies that credit your card if something goes wrong versus give store credit.

Yeah, editing for grammer is pretty standard. So is only using positive feedback if you run your own site.

IME LA is top notch, but there are llenty of places where you can find customer feedback, not just from a vendor's site. R2R has a vendor feedback forum where customers leave feedback, both good and bad.

I think you need something more than the lack of grammar mistakes before calling someone out and claim fraud. The need for grammar and spelling corrections says more about the customers than the company imo.
But looking only on this forum my impression is that most reefers are pretty well versed in both grammar and spelling. [emoji4]

I understand what you are saying, and I agree, the clientele for the most part are well versed in grammar and spelling. You can be too perfect though... Look at BRS reviews for example (Which I would say has identical customers as LA). BRS reviews look real - They are well written for the most part, but there are inconsistencies and typos that indicate the review was written by an actual user and not a review farm.

And just to be clear - I'm not upset with them actually. I said in my OP I think they are great. This just stuck out to me like a sore thumb when browsing the site this morning.

Honestly, would not be surprised.
If you notice their prices are going up and petco has pretty much the same stock way way cheaper. IMO they’re trying to move customers more towards their petco website. The livestock comes from the same place unless it’s Divers Den...

This is true.

ok so wats the point some customers post good n bad reviews n sometimes do make mistakes if these companies go behind closed doors to fix these reviews y does it metter if u buy from them n ur happy then thats all that matters right?????

LA quality has gone down, I’m sorry to say as someone who’s been buying from divers den for years. Last 2 orders I got, the bags were deflated and there was way too much water in the styrofoam box.

My divers den butterfly clearly had ich when I got it, although maybe it was asymptomatic in their tank but...

On the plus side they will refund you immediately but I prefer healthy livestock than stress.

Ever Put much thought into why no two fingerprints are the same. If I were U, I would put the same amount of thought into live fish reviews. If your Fish arrives alive U have should a least 14 days to try an keep it that way. Don't over think it.

Who goes back to review a fish they bought 9 or 10 years ago? I'm sure I wouldn't.
If they are real they are fixed but I think some are fake like what I said, 10 year old fish review? No way.

I have had nothing but good experiences with LA and Drs Foster and Smith...when I purchased my Biocube, UPS smashed 2 of them. Called them and they told me to keep all the stuff inside the tank and throw it away, even provided me with a $100 inconvenience credit. I have ordered 2 corals from them as well and they were exactly as pictured.

Most people in this community are at least decently educated to a certain degree, so seeing proper grammar isn't some surprise. Especially if they are doing minor edits prior to posting...

It is a shame that online companies are going this route now for sales. I love amazon and always depended on the reviews of their products before buying but lately it seems the products are flooded with fake reviews.

That being said, I just took the plunge and ordered my first fish from LA. I decided to go this route as I have had no luck with my LFS and they do not guarantee their livestock even while it is kept in their store. The package was delayed a day, but both the goby and blenny are still alive 2 weeks later and appear healthy. I also ordered a peppermint shrimp and numerous snails and hermits. Everything was well packaged and made it alive.

I like the money back guarantee and I also find the pricing on their fish to be lower then my LFS. They also have the best deal for shipping, if you spend a 100 bucks on livestock the shipping is free.
