Nice tank! How long has it been up for? That anemone is going to give you some trouble in such a small tank isn't it? It sol looks awesome.
Nice job. I love the small tanks. This is my 5 gallon in my office. It's not as clean as yours but it's fun.

Thanks for all the encouragement guys! Sorry I haven't posted any updates, I've been on travel. My wife tells me there is "yellow stuff" growing in the tank. Sounds to me like the beginning of the diatom bloom. I'll take a pic when I get back. I also think that blue and green coral is a galaxea. I forgot to add the second one in from the left which I believe is a cyphastrea.

Just a short update since I will be doing some work in it tomorrow. Definitely hitting it's diatom stage. Unfortunately some bubble algae popping up. I'm going to try to clean that tomorrow also. I cleaned the front glass a little.

My ten gallon nano is starting to grow algae tooJust a short update since I will be doing some work in it tomorrow. Definitely hitting it's diatom stage. Unfortunately some bubble algae popping up. I'm going to try to clean that tomorrow also. I cleaned the front glass a little.

Not much to update. Everything is going well so far. My ATO reservoir lasts about 2.5 weeks with the glass top. I think I am going to make a screen top for it though. In other news my clown goby had picked the perch that I wanted him to pick, very happy about that.

Not really a whole lot to update, just going to share some lessons learned so far. The pistol shrimp is quite the busy body and is very efficient at digging out the cave for him and his protector. He buried my zoa rock and my little acans overnight. No problem, I just need to clean up after him.
I checked my parameters after about a week without a water change and: ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 5, salinity 1.023. I have added some purigen type stuff that came with the tank. The biggest issue I have had is with the salinity. But with weekly water changes should be no problems.
Coral-wise things are ok. The scroll coral is having a rough time. I imagine the change in lighting and, more importantly, the clown goby perching on it have made it upset. It still eats pellets though, we'll see how it goes. The others seem to be doing well enough.
I added two astrea snails and two little hermits to help with clean-up.

Update time, I added two sexy shrimp and several coral frags. The shrimp are way smaller than I thought they would be. For coral additions I got an orange ricordia, "psychedelic mushroom", Jedi mind trick montipora, and three different zoanthids (candy apple, raging inferno, and pink zipper) all from vivid aquariums.
As for the tank everything has been great. The scroll is coming back quite well. I had some bleaching on one coral but I moved the light closer and more centered and it seems to be coming back.
I will get some better pictures when I mount the new corals but here's a couple quick ones:

I understand the need for ATO; it helps prevent fluctuation in SG. What I don't understand is the elaborate ATO systems. I keep a 5 gallon water cooler jug with top off water off to the side at a level higher than the sump. Then I just us a good, old - fashioned siphon to a float valve in the sump. 24 bucks.
