I just picked up a IM 16 today. Probably set it up over the next few days. What does everyone use for media? Do you use the media blocks that IM sells? Or do u guys use other stuff??
I have the baskets, I'm just curious if everyone actually uses the IM blocks that come with it, or do they use other products?Look at intank media baskets for it.
That's probably what I'll do. Thanks! On one side I use the stock media and the other purigen and chemipure blue

I am looking at doing a fusion 10 for a office tank. How is the pump? I want coral only, softies and LPS. Would I need a higher pump mj900 or power head?My nuvo Fusion 10G:

I think that the stock pump is enough for filtration. I have it at half the power, because anything over that makes the water flow over the media basket. Even with the upgraded basket this happens, which is what I have. With that said, it is not enough flow for the display. For those reasons I installed a jebao WP10 inside the display and this gives me the necessary flow. The WP 10 has a very small foot print, so it doesn't look terrible. BUT, I would get the jebao RW4, which some claim is smaller and more controllable than the WP10. The RW4 is the upgrade to the WP10. Cheers.I am looking at doing a fusion 10 for a office tank.
