Is My Miami Going downhill???

my LFS has a colony of the my miami and I noticed they finally cut a good chunk out of it and they had one eye that was still left for sale...for 1000$

I think it will hit the 2-300 a eye like most chalices and stay there. I mean I doubt you eill ever see it for 100 for a single eye.

That's to funny man!!!! That my miami that started this thread was my "TL's"y Miami and I got it from poletti when it was hot and priced outragous!!! He put it up dirt cheap and I jumped on it.. I said what gives man his reply just killing the over hyped market!! Ahahahah here we are 2 yrs later same frag going dirt cheap and starting this thread... I think that makes it real special it should add a couple bucks to the price lps1212 rotflmbo!!!

Someone posted a 3 eye piece for $500. That's getting pretty darn close to $100 an eye. It's only a matter of time before everybody has a piece and they are all trying to sell frags to the newbs for lower and lower prices.

Unique looking,compared to other corals
Easy to care under any lighting,from pc to LED

That is why there was a craze,because any reefer could keep a chalice.

Ive always enjoyed their unique look the most. Almost like a drop of melted candle wax, I owe my addiction to WWC. When I walked in there 2 years ago..something hit me,along with every color known to man.

There will always be a demand for a great looking chalice. Because like said above they can take a beating compared to other coral and still thrive.

And I hope it goes down to $25 an eye so everyone can have one. In this hobby you need to be very smart. Every single seller on this site will take advantage of us except Mr. Coral I think. Sorry TS and online sellers but it is true.

Well yesturday I put up a My Miami 3 eye frag and although I felt like we could have got a bit more for the frag for the price I asked it was fair and a good deal to the next reefer trying to get his/her collection up I think after settin the bar at 175 an eye for the MM is a fair market value thers a frag poppin up every day now and I don't think people are willin to pay 200+ per eye anymore for that piece I know I wouldn't. Grow too fast imo heck I might post another frag for 175 per eye :snicker:
