Another note about my ph. I've thought seriously about dripping Kalkwasser and even bought the stuff to do it, but I read that if you stop, your ph just returns to where it was...

Have you tried adding a CO2 absorber for your PH? It will help. Put it on your Skimmer ( on the mufflertube)

Mine died cuz of one day of too much light. Shade immediately.

I shaded him yesterday. Last night he spewed zooxanthellae. .. when the lights were dimming for night time, he had his head on the sand bed... I thought was gone for sure, but this morning, he is still alive, hanging in there... Im hoping he will make it.

Yeah, I know Im not out of the woods yet, but any progress in the right direction makes me happy! I fully expected to wake up to a dead yuma... I know it took about 3 weeks for him to get this bad, it will take a while for him to come back to 100%.

Here he is today... Looking better. I got rid of the ugly rocks and replaced them with the beauties in the pics! Also a FTS!

I had a big Ric colony of 20 or more, and they did well for at least a month halfway up in the tank. I usually only run 2 of 6 T5s. Then some of them started closing up and spewing out goo. Eventually I put them at the bottom in a shadier area...but nothing changed, they kept closing. After a while I put them back to their original spot and there are only 3 sad ones remaining. I will try again having read this thread to salvage them and put them in shade.

Hi. Its a sad day for me. I think my ricordea is dying. He hasn't been happy for weeks now. I don't know why. Everything else is great! Im really not sure what I did wrong... Ill attach pics in order of from when I first got it and the rest are from the last two days...so sad.

Having the same issue thanks for starting this forum gave me lots of info!
