My most recent build was also an introduction to the sump as I have always ran hob filters. This forum alone helped me out tremendously on how to keep it setup and running.

I don’t have any links for particular threads, it was more just doing searches and reading multiple threads to see different opinions. I will say, 99% of the time a question came to mind, I could find it on the forum.

The Reef Rack is new and next on my list to check out. Seen alot of nice stuff from there on Instagram. I dont have a particular favorite. I think i've visited paradise aquatics alot. Picasso is nice also. Midwest reefs is also another i frequented. The one in the mall in olathe also before they closed.

Good price if it is all clean and what not. Get rid of the sand. You could keep some of the water to help with a cycle. Don’t let anything like the live rock touch air. Also you want to rehire the damsel. They can get real mean with other fish you add to the tank.
