Don’t forget the fine screen on top of the plastic. You want the area below to be able to allow water flow to pass through all of it. Small bits will fall down and create dead spots.

I'm terrible with secrets... can't hold it in any longer.
I'm building a macro tank. It will also serve as a rearing tank for Cardinalfish should my male ever hold eggs longer than 6 days.
And eventually this tank will serve as a design 1.0 for a seahorse tank I want to do.
