Which ones are considered the newest and most upgraded?

I am looking to get a couple for my new frag tank.

I'd upgrade your home owners insurance. lol

Google.... Jebao Fire Hazard Power Supply

Don’t listen to the fear mongering.

I have a jebao return pump that’s dead silent and reliable so far, as well I have 3 jebao/coral box powerheads. The qp9s have a bit of noise, the qp16 is dang near silent unless your right next to the tank.

There are lots of reefers who use jebao.

Yes. let's not let facts get in way here.....

Link one for 2014....we are 2019...poster says they can’t forsure say it was jebao
Post 2 from 2015. We are 2019.....a solder joint let go.
In both posts that are the only 2 google results you have no way of knowing if water or any other circumstances caused this to happen.
If these were such fire hazards I m sure google would have more than 2 results to back up your statement.

No offence but I was just reading a thread and you posted there about generators and transfer switches. and loss of life and wrongful death....all of which is fear mongering, like some of the stuff you say there is pure nonsense . I’m a licensed electrician and have been for the last 15 years. I’ve worked in all aspects of my trade....

I edited this so it doesn’t seem so combative which isn’t the intention. I think you just need to stop trying to scare people.

You have no idea how a transfer switch works. I’m a licensed electrician and have been for the last 15 years. I’ve worked in all aspects of my trade.....
George it's not worth arguing over. Iagree with you and have tons of jebao equipment and nothing has broken in the 2 or 3 years I have had it. Snails regularly get stuck n the powerheads overnight and they still work perfectly. I work at a fish shop and from what I have seen its the Ecotech wavemakers that break the most.

SOW is the latest model I believe. I have been running Jebao PP and SOW series pumps for a couple years now and am very pleased.

The original WP series worked well for me, but the RW series that followed weren't very reliable. Currently using an SOW-8 for a few months, so far it's been quiet and delivers good flow.

I have an rw4 that has been running for over 3 years now. Great little pump albeit a little noisy when dirty, it's in my lounge and you can't hear it over the tele and kids so not a problem.

I got 2 coral box as they are pretty similar in price to the jebao and have a 12 month warranty plus I have used reefbreeders products before and they lasted a long time so hopefully these do too, especially with good frequent cleanings. (I think that is most important with these cheaper pumps)

I’ve got a jebao return pump that was old when I started reefing, 4 jebao pumps (sw2 and sw4’s) and while one of the sw2’s failed after a year and a half, I’m still happy with my pumps, and satisfied with my purchases.
