I'm considering a two Jebao wp10 units with a twin controller for my nano. My hydor 850s do not like the hydor wavemaker. They get stuck quite often and requre manual starting. Dissapointed about that. Has anyone used Jebao products? Thoughts? the WP10s are small, DC, and very controllable from what I can tell. A budget Vortec IMO. Please chime in if you've had any experience with these units at all. Thanks!

You said nano, how small or big is your nano?
I would go with the smallest you can find and maybe need only one and I prefer the MP10 QD

I currently have two 850 hydors, so my flow could actually be less overall with the WP10s

The WP are the old models. They have the RW and the PP. the RW and PP have a wide flow. I just replaced 2 WP 10s for 2 PP 8. After a few months, the flow isn't as strong, other than that I had no problems with them. If you're considering them, you're probably not looking to pay the big bucks. I just think they are the best pumps for the money.

haven't had anything small, but I have had an RW-4 and RW-8, once you can decipher the manual they are actually pretty versatile little units. Depending on where you buy from they come with a 1-2 year warranty, and the way the MP's are priced you could afford to replace the Jebao before you even come close to spending as much as an MP

+1

On the newer models there are a few small holes on the backside of the housing that are used for cooling, if you keep those clean and keep coraline off the unit it should be fine

That's small for the WP 10. Probably on the lowest setting. I would get the PP-4 and put it on the lowest setting and see how it goes. You might have a sand storm.

currently running two 850gph powerheads, the way I have them aimed seems to be no problem. Just want more control. I want the Jebao twin controller with two smaller powerheads, but not sure where to find that other than the wp10s with twin controller I found on amazon for $105

Just get the PP-4. You don't need the twin controller. Amazon has the for $43. The controllers link up with each other. Set one as master and the other as slave.

I have the pp-8 in my 90 and a pp-4 in my 30l. I also have a DC pump from them and the wifi controller for all the pp pumps. No issues and work great [emoji1303]

I own 2 WP-10 and just switched them out for 2 PP-8. The PP model has more flow options and the flow is wider.

They redesigned the pump but keep on mind the lager one is the equivalent of a WP-25.

The old jebao twin controllers were junk. You're better off going with new wireless stuff. 2 RW-4 pumps turned down a bit should be perfect for you!
